Geoghegans of Navan is a specialized, family-owned department store with a genuine passion for retail. Our love for retail may have been ingrained in us since childhood, but we also hold a strong belief in the value of independent, Irish bricks-and-mortar shops and the shopping experience they offer.
Our store boasts an extensive range of products, including womenswear, menswear, home interior items, and a fabulous lingerie section. Additionally, we are proud to supply school uniforms for several schools in the Navan area.

founded by Larry Geoghegan Sr. Exclusively Men’s clothing but household items were soon added.
1956
Branched into
womens wear

Introduced a Lingerie department
1970's
Larry Jnr took over the management of the business
1974
Shop extended to 4000sqfeet
1980’s
Shop further extended to a two-storey building, rehoming & expanding our womenswear & lingerie departments upstairs.
2001
Entrance on railway street opened and shop further expanded to 10,000 square feet.
